In August 2007, I installed my first Vista Systems Spyder configuration at the Arizona Cardinals Stadium, supporting the main Daktronics LED boards. The system consisted of 8 GrassValley Turbos that were synchronized to create linear-key effects on the LED displays. This allowed for dynamic transitions, such as an animation of “Big Red” running across the screen, climbing up a ladder, and transitioning to the next video element as he falls off the ladder. This Spyder installation was a significant learning experience for me and served as the blueprint for future Spyder installations.
